US – Digital and branding company Trone Brand Energy is launching a full-service research and consulting agency, Trone Research + Consulting.
The company’s services will include brand health audits, prospect and customer insights, marketing claims and market potential validation, channel needs assessment and attrition evaluation and retention optimisation.
Trone Research + Consulting is being led by Scott Layne, previously president and chief operating officer at CMI. Layne has 25 years’ experience with market research companies including Bellomy Research and M/A/R/C Research.
The company is working with clients in the animal health, retail, telecoms, hospitality and non-profit sectors, as well as brands looking to enter the US market.
The new agency has stemmed from clients requesting more specialised analytics and market research. Doug Barton, chief executive of Trone Brand Energy and Trone Research + Consulting, said: “Starting a separate company allows us to dedicate resources to building our research and analytics capabilities so we can meet this growing demand.”
