US — Social network Tumblr has teamed up with data analytics company Simply Measured to provide enterprise-level analytics to marketers.
Coming two months after its acquisition by Yahoo!, the partnership allows Tumblr to be measured alongside other social network channels such as Facebook and Twitter to show the relationship between content marketing, traffic and audience interactions.
With social media API Gnip’s full access to the Tumblr data fire hose, the offering features four reports: Tumblr Blog Report; Tumblr Blog Report with Google Analytics; Tumblr Competitive Analysis; and Compare Social Media Snapshot.
Tumblr global head of sales Lee Brown said: “As brands increasingly find their audience in Tumblr, it’s important for them to understand the deep engagement and see how valuable that interaction is.”
