UK — Online insight communities specialist Tuned In has opened an office in New York City.
The New York office will be run by a team of seven, including associate director Matthew Ayers and research manager Katie O’Driscoll who will be relocating from the London office, and will handle the numerous US accounts that the business runs.
The office opening follows a 54% increase in revenue in 2012 and, as Tuned In CEO Douglas Dunn explained, over a third of revenues now come from the US.
Dunn said: “Around 35% of our existing revenue is already generated from the US, and we were in the nice position that our clients were actively asking us when we were setting up locally, so it became a very easy decision to make.”
