The acquisition will expand the range of AI tools offered by Uniphore and will support the firm’s attempts to deliver a zero data AI cloud.

A zero data AI cloud would seek to help users overcome data access and sovereignty issues when implementing AI, with Uniphore saying the cloud would deliver AI capabilities while avoiding integration challenges.

ActionIQ runs a composable zero-copy data platform that helps users to make data AI ready, while Infoworks has an enterprise data platform that includes AI data agents that can discover, identify, organise, catalogue and clean data.

Umesh Sachdev, chief executive and co-founder at Uniphore, said: “This is a defining moment for Enterprise AI. With the acquisitions of ActionIQ and Infoworks, Uniphore is enabling a Zero Data AI Cloud for the world’s largest companies, equipping them with the tools to fast-track AI deployments and drive measurable business outcomes.”

Tasso Argyros, chief executive and co-founder at ActionIQ, said: “Bringing together Uniphore’s industry-leading AI capabilities and ActionIQ’s data and customer experience capabilities will allow us to continue leading the market and deliver world class solutions to the world.”

Amar Arsikere, founder at Infoworks, added: “Data has long been a challenge for enterprises to modernise their operations and embracing AI innovations.

“By joining forces with Uniphore, we now deliver a comprehensive data and AI solution that accelerates the development of enterprise AI applications and empowers organisations to unlock their full potential.”
