US— Hispanic broadcaster Univision has signed up to receive audience figures through Rentrak’s TV Essentials service.
Univision’s channels include Univision, Telefutura, Galavision, Univision Deportes, Univision tlnovelas, ForoTV, Bandamax, De Pelicula, Pelicula Clasico, Clasico TV, Ritmoson and Telehit.
The TV Essentials service will provide the broadcaster with ratings for all of the 210 local markets in the US, gathering data on viewing habit from 20 million television sets.
Ceril Shagrin, EVP of audience measurement innovation and analytics at Univison, said: “We look forward to working with Rentrak to gather greater insights into the rapidly growing and diversifying Hispanic broadcast and cable network space.”
