CANADA— Survey software firm Voxco has acquired French firm Sypiens, which specialises in producing software that allows users to collect consumer information and opinions on mobile devices.
Voxco said that the acquisition would allow it to offer its “flagship” surveys via mobile as the Sypiens technology is compatible with “95% of mobile devices currently in use worldwide”.
Louis Lessard, president and CEO at Voxco, said: “Acquiring Sypiens strengthens our position as a major player in the market for surveying software, and fits in perfectly with our goal of developing our mobile solutions… We are very pleased to be able to benefit from the Sypiens team of experts, and to welcome them to Voxco.”
Sypiens founder David Lacan added: “The integration of Sypiens within Voxco will allow us to speed up our technology projects, and to benefit from significantly larger development resources.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
