US— GfK’s North American custom research business has moved John Wittenbraker to the newly created role of managing director of corporate innovation and hired James Conrad as managing director of its brand and communications practice.
Wittenbraker (pictured) previously served as managing director of brand and communications and will now be responsible for overseeing GfK’s centre for excellence and its product innovation activities.
Co-president Thomas Finkle said: “John Wittenbraker brings more than 27 years of market research experience and an industry-leading perspective on the factors driving innovation. John will ensure that we continue to drive marketing science solutions into our product portfolio, while accelerating the adoption and utilisation of our innovative service offerings.”
James Conrad comes to the firm after a spell with Canadian research agency Hotspex, where he served as president. He also had a spell as president of Millward Brown Canada.
The firm’s other co-president, David Krajicek, said: “Throughout his career, James Conrad has been instrumental in driving businesses forward and strengthening client relationships. As our clients adapt to the ever-changing business landscape, James will be an integral component of our business development and the building of client service teams.”
