UK— Claudia Arney has been appointed non-executive director at Doctors.net.uk, the online network of medical professionals and owner of healthcare researcher MedeConnect Healthcare Insight.
Arney was most recently at publishing firm Emap where she was managing director of the media and public sector businesses, overseeing healthcare titles the Nursing Times and Health Service Journal.
After starting out as a business analyst with McKinsey & Company, Arney had spells as executive director at Goldman Sachs, director of the enterprise and growth unit at HM Treasury and product development director at the Financial Times.
Doctors.net.uk chairman Ian Laing said: “More organisations are beginning to understand fully the massive advantages of researching and communicating with medical professionals through Doctors.net.uk. Claudia’s experience will be invaluable in helping us to harness this huge potential for further growth.”
