US— JD Power has set up a digital research team, led by Fabien Reille, with a remit to incorporate online, mobile and social media data into its market information research services.
Reille (pictured), a co-founder of social commerce network PurePhoto and music market research firm Opendisc, will lead the development of new data collection streams and enhanced reporting and publishing tools.
Kevin Keegan, JD Power’s senior vice president of global research operations, said: “The proliferation of online, mobile and social media activity among consumers and brands means that listening to and monitoring the voice of the customer must now include these valuable information streams.”
During his career Reille has also served as vice president of local online marketing firm ReachLocal and held product management positions at internet advertising agency ValueClick.
